The Terroir

Is it important to you to know where your beef comes from, how it is raised, and what it eats?

Our cattle grow plump on a long, slow feeding regimen featuring an all-vegetarian diet of grasses, seeds, grains and alfalfa. At all times, the bulk of their diet is comprised of grasses and alfalfa. No hormones or antibiotics are used. Whenever possible, we let the cattle graze; they are not fed in pens.

Our ranch consists of various parcels of land stretching over fifteen miles. Within this span of miles exists an amazing variety of terrain and micro-climates. From the borderlands of the great Red Desert to the mountainous frontier of the Medicine Bow National Forest, our cattle roam over grassy, river-bottom meadows, rolling hills and alpine pastures.

Our diversity results in a striking complexity of soils, water and natural forages. This unique terroir, combined with the very best Wagyu bloodlines, enables us to produce beef of unique character and unsurpassed quality.
